The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Parsons Mounted Cavalry (PMC) is the only ROTC collegiate-level mounted cavalry in the nation. The Corps has proudly trained and set the standard for this elite program since 1974, when the unit was revived on campus. The PMC also maintains and keeps the Spirit of '02 - the cannon that is used at march-ins, home football games, and yell practices.

The PMC is in need of funding to continue the growth of the program. An organization that started as a grassroots effort with a handful of Cadets who went home and brought back their horses to ride on during march-ins, has grown to 70 horses and mules with 90 Cadets who train them.

Currently the PMC is in need of funding for the following:

  • Saddle Pads - $10,000
  • An additional wash rack to wash the animals - $12,000
  • A ramp that attaches to a semi-truck for transport of animals - $20,000

Please help the horses and the PMC Cadets by donating today.
